Michael Johnescu, P.E.

Michael Johnescu is a registered Civil Engineer with 9 years of experience with geotechnical engineering, project management, instrumentation, and construction observation services. He has oversaw and conducted geotechnical investigations for bridges, buildings, tunnels, and civil infrastructure and supervises construction oversight and instrumentation projects.

Michael has experience with numerous and commonly available geotechnical drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing techniques. He has extensive experience with geotechnical instrumentation including inclinometers, vibrating wire piezometers, settlement platforms, strain gauges, and automated total stations. His technical expertise includes shallow and deep foundation analyses, ground improvement, slope stability analyses, and load testing.

Michael has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering from Drexel University.
