Michel H. Jubran

Michel (Mike) Jubran is a Senior Consultant in GEI’s Carlsbad, California office. Mike’s advanced experience in the construction of dams and water infrastructure is a great fit for GEI and will further enhance GEI’s status as experts in the engineering and construction of dams. In particular, Mike’s experience with roller compacted concrete (RCC) will be an immediate asset to GEI’s dams practice in California.

Mike has over 40 years of experience in Construction Management and Resident Engineering on more than 35 dams across California, the U.S., and internationally. He has worked on design teams and independent construction management teams for new builds and rehabilitations of RCC, concrete rock fill, asphaltic core, and earth fill dams.

Through extensive field experience constructing dams in the US and internationally, Mike has developed an advanced skill set in resident engineering, construction quality management, and regulatory coordination; he knows how to keep the work moving in the right direction, in accordance with design intent, even when faced with challenging logistics and field conditions.

Mike Jubran holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Washington University, Pulman, Washington.
