Savanta, Inc. Joins GEI Consultants, Inc.

Toronto, Ontario – January 31, 2019 – GEI Consultants, Inc. (GEI), one of North America’s leading engineering and science consulting firms announced today that Savanta, Inc. (Savanta), an Ontario-based environmental and ecological services firm has joined the company. The merger of the two firms will strengthen GEI’s operations in the Ontario market by bringing significant strength in the environmental and ecological sectors to GEI. The new combined operations will provide the opportunity to serve new and existing clients in the rapidly growing Ontario market.

Savanta was founded by Mr. Tom Hilditch in 2006. The firm has grown significantly to provide services to public, private and First Nations clients. Savanta has distinguished themselves as trusted advisors to First Nations communities and as a thought leader in the environmental services market. In his decision to join GEI, Mr. Hilditch states, “We are excited about the opportunity to join GEI. GEI and Savanta have many cultural and technical similarities – the joining of our companies will broaden our combined reach to better serve our clients on both sides of the Great Lakes, as well as providing exciting, new opportunities for both our clients and our employees.”
