#TeamGEI was excited to be part of the Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO)’s Dam Safety 2026 Conference where our team of more than 15 technical experts explored creative approaches to aging dam management, hydrologic hazard analysis, and risk-informed decision-making for state regulatory programs.

Our professionals presented and moderated discussions on a range of dam safety topics including hazard classification, erodibility, decision tools, seismic demand, dam rehabilitation, and portfolio risk evaluation.

Leading into the conference, Senior Project Manager/Senior Engineer Chris Keenan wrote a blog on why dam owners must prepare for storm season starts long before severe weather is in the forecast.
