GEI Consultants Appoints Scott Wallington as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer

BOSTON, Mass.—November 5, 2014— GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, is pleased to announce that Scott J. Wallington has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer. In this role, he is responsible for advancing the company’s national growth strategy and client positioning efforts, in coordination with operations and corporate leaders across the company. A member of the Executive Team, reporting to GEI’s President Raymond Hart, P.E., G.E., Mr. Wallington’s primary duties will include developing and supporting the implementation of short and long-term growth strategies; working with our client management teams to further develop our relationship with our key clients; identifying areas (projects, markets, geographies, new clients and services) for strategic growth opportunities; and contributing to M&A integration and client leverage plans.

Mr. Wallington brings over 25 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic growth programs for a variety of businesses both nationally and internationally. His career highlights and expertise include operational management, business development, account management, marketing and mergers/acquisitions. Mr. Wallington comes to GEI from AECOM, where most recently, he was a Vice President for their Middle East operations. Prior to AECOM, he held the position of Vice President at Maxim Technologies in Dallas, Texas, and Vice President of Corporate Development at STS Consultants, Ltd. in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Wallington holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University, and will be based in GEI’s Lansing, Michigan office.
