GEI’s Jennifer Bentley Appointed Chair, Content/Asset Management Committee for the SMPS Foundation

BOSTON, Mass.—February 20, 2015— GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, announced today that Jennifer Bentley, GEI’s Corporate Marketing Communications Manager was recently appointed Chair of the Content/Asset Management Committee for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Foundation. The Content/Asset Management Committee’s primary function is to oversee content delivery for the SMPS Foundation, which includes books, articles, blogs, videos, white papers, infographics, and any public research materials available for distribution from the Foundation. In addition to leading the committee, she will oversee production of materials, and organize the committee’s efforts to maintain consistent branding for all materials produced.

Ms. Bentley has been an active member of SMPS since 2003. From 2003 – 2010, she served on several local Boston Chapter committees, including a 3-year commitment as Vice President/President/Past President of the Chapter. She began serving on national SMPS committees in 2010, including 3 years as a judge on the Striving for Excellence and Chapter President of the Year committees. This is her first opportunity to Chair a committee on a national level.

SMPS is an organization that represents a marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada. The SMPS Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established by the Society to promote research and education that advances the body of knowledge in the field of professional services marketing and develops a greater understanding of the role and value of marketing in the industries SMPS serves.
