GEI’s Shareholders Add Five New Members to its Board of Directors

Boston, Mass. – July 5, 2016 – GEI Consultants, Inc. one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, is proud to announce that the shareholders of GEI elected three new members and re-elected two members to the Board of Directors.

Ray Hart, Senior Principal, President/CEO in GEI’s Sacramento, CA office. Ray has 40 years of experience in the industry, having worked on many projects from dam investigation and rehabilitation to planning and management of California’s scarce water resources. In his role as President/CEO of GEI for the last three years, he has worked to grow the company while sustaining its culture, profitability and excellence in service to clients.

Ileen Gladstone, Senior Principal, Vice President, Environmental Practice Leader in GEI’s Boston, MA office. Ileen joined GEI in 1992 and previously served on the Board of Directors between 2004 and 2010. Her expertise includes the development of contaminated properties, vapor intrusion mitigation, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) cleanup and the management of public sector environmental contracts.

Ron Palmieri, P.E., Senior Principal, Chief Operating Officer in GEI’s Chicago, IL office. Ron has 30 years of consulting experience in geotechnical and pavement engineering and construction services, as well as operations leadership and management, strategic planning, and risk management. He joined GEI in 2010 to start and grow a Midwest Region, where he served as Regional Manager.

Mike Walker, P.E., Senior Principal and Vice President in GEI’s Woburn, MA office. Mike joined GEI in 1991 and has worked across disciplines on environmental, water resources, civil, geotechnical, and structural projects throughout his career. He has successfully developed a collaborative national geostructural practice involving staff from offices across the country.

Ellen Cross, President of Strategy Driver, Inc., Board Director at Cramer Fish Sciences, Outside Director on GEI’s Board of Directors. Ellen has more than 25 years of experience in the California water and environmental science industry, creating successful innovative solutions through forums for vision, collaboration, and growth. Her career has included directing multi-million dollar operations for engineering, science, and water resource consulting firms to develop large strategic programs focused on promoting water and science-based innovative solutions for private, governmental and non-profit sectors.
