Geostructural Engineer Steven Lowe Joins GEI
July 8, 2025Steven specializes in constructible designs on infrastructure and development projects
NEW YORK CITY, New York, July 8, 2025 – Steven Lowe, P.E., has joined GEI Consultants in New York City as Geostructural Practice Leader. With more than 34 years of experience in geostructural engineering, Steven brings expertise in designing excavation support systems and temporary structures, as well as foundation and ground improvement solutions.
“Steven will be an invaluable asset to our growing contractor support practice,” says Asher Peltz, P.E., Vice President and Branch Manager at GEI. “He brings additional capacity to serve our external clients and support staff growth through mentorship and internal projects in both the United States and Canada.”
Throughout his career, Steven has delivered innovative, efficient, and constructible designs on challenging projects in the New York City area and across the country. His technical background and collaborative approach to problem solving have contributed to the successful completion of the most demanding infrastructure and development projects.

Steven holds a Master and Bachelor of Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Planning from Rutgers University. He is a certified Associate Design-Build Professional® (DBIA) member and a professional engineer in New York and New Jersey.
