Civil Engineer William Link Joins GEI

SACRAMENTO, California, Sept. 19, 2024 – William Link, P.E., has joined GEI Consultants as a Senior Civil Engineer. William brings 11 years of experience in the management, design, and construction support of land development projects with a specialization in stormwater conveyance and stormwater management facilities.

“William is an experienced, well-rounded engineer, with a breadth of knowledge focusing on site development, water conveyance, stormwater, and detention basins,” says Kristopher Van Sant, Senior Engineer at GEI. “Will’s skills, focus on quality, and his willingness to take on challenges fit seamlessly into our culture. His positive attitude and knowledge have already made him an integral member of our team.”

William has been involved in projects throughout California where his design and management experience includes preparing improvement plans as engineer of record and managing teams during project planning and design phases. His background also includes extensive hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and flood control facility design.

“I am thrilled to join the GEI team in working on impactful large-scale projects,” says William. “I believe that my prior work experience will bring an insightful new perspective to current and future projects and that I will become a significant contributor to GEI’s future success.”

William holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis on Water Resources, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
