Senior Project ManagerBarry Raus is a Professional Geologist who has worked on over 25 former MGP sites and multiple chlorinated solvent and LNAPL/DNAPL sites conducting remedial investigations and implementing remedial actions. Mr. Raus is currently managing the remedial investigations involving fractured bedrock DNAPL impacts at two former MGP sites in New Jersey. Mr. Raus had previously served as a member of a technical advisory committee for a southern New Jersey utility for 5 years. His roles have included the oversight of technical support staff, development of remedial strategies, cost-benefit analysis of identified remedial alternatives, long and short-term cost projecting, contract negotiating and the review of remedial contractor qualifications and bids. In addition, Mr. Raus interfaced with the regulators to obtain workplan, permit and report approval and letters of no further action/site closure for several MGP sites. Mr. Raus recently served as the overall project manager and regulatory technical expert for the completion of an in-situ remedy consisting of the construction of a containment structure to isolate in-place over 120,000 cubic yards of coal tar impacted material.
