Marc Brezinski
Senior ProfessionalMarc Brezinski began his career in the construction industry in 1987. Upon completion of his three college degrees in 1994, he accepted a position with a consulting firm as a geotechnical engineer. Since that time, he has pursued his dual interests as a design builder and consulting engineer. He has been a chief estimator, chief engineer, operations manager, and vice president during his design building career. As a consulting engineer, he routinely fills roles as a subject matter expert, consultant/reviewer, and design manager. His core competency areas are geotechnical engineering, geostructural engineering, geoenvironmental engineering, and waterfront engineering.
Marc has worked on projects in more than twenty U.S. States, Puerto Rico, Antigua, Bermuda, Australia, and Sicily, and he has had various roles on more than 1,500 projects in his career. He holds professional engineering licenses in six states.
Notable project experience includes engineering design roles on the Central Artery/Tunnel Project, the Army Corps of Engineer’s Rio Puerto Nuevo Flood Control Channel Project in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Army Corps of Engineer’s Central City Flood Control Project in Fort Worth, Texas, the South Basin Land Reclamation Project in Bermuda, and the underpinning of the Beechwood Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.
Marc has a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, and an Associate of Science Degree in Architecture from New England Institute of Technology.
When he’s not pursuing his engineering career he enjoys surfing, painting, sustainable farming, and volunteering for the Mystic Aquarium as part of their Animal Rescue Program.
