Renée Lanza, P.E.

Senior Consultant

Renée Lanza is a Senior Consultant in GEI’s Woburn, MA office. She has over 12 years of experience working on and managing a wide variety of water projects for clients in the public and private sectors focused on enhancing water system resiliency, water quality, and compliance with environmental regulations. Her expertise includes managing and providing technical support for projects such as the planning, design, and construction of water treatment facilities, pumping stations, storage tanks, and water mains. Additional projects have included water system master planning, watershed planning, regional mutual aid studies, lead service line inventory and replacement programs, water meter replacement programs, risk and resilience planning, emergency response planning, and utility support services through leadership transitions. With extensive experience guiding clients through the planning and execution of projects, she specializes in aligning the goals of her clients with evolving regulatory requirements and available funding mechanisms to ensure compliance and financial sustainability.

Renee is a licensed civil engineer with a BS in Environmental Engineering and an MS in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management with a focus in sustainability.
